- calculation of magnetic field of an infinite straight conductor
- calculation of voltage induced by sinusoidal magnetic field in a rectangular loop
- calculation of capacitance between straight conductors
- calculation of resistance of a wire with rectangular cross section
- ability to model EMC phenomenons: inductive, capacitive and galvanic coupling
- ability to measure different EMC phenomenons
- to be familiar with theory of power line filters
