Development of benchmarking software for automotive micro-controllers. 

The candidate will take part in the development of a benchmarking software which enables the straightforward comparison of the computing performance of various micro-controllers. The intended benchmark software is an abstraction of a  motor-control related application (involving typical computation intensive tasks like PWM generation, rotor position estimation etc.) on a motor-independent basis enabling the customer to painlessly compare the value of various micro-controllers for these computation intensive tasks.   Required skills are: embedded software development basics (i.e., solid C programming knowledge, development for micro-controllers etc.).  Possible beneficial experience gained: automotive micro-controllers, motor control, benchmarking, modeling automotive software with the AUTOSAR visual modeling notation. This subject is suggested for colleagues interested in benchmarking, motor control and software modeling.
