Home automation enables the automatic control of household appliances, such as light fixtures, sensors, thermostats, etc. These devices need to operate in a wireless network to exchange information. Bluetooth Mesh is a relatively new wireless protocol which allows a mesh network based on the Bluetooth Low Energy standard. The goal of the project would be the creation of a Bluetooth Mesh based network of switches, sensors and Light fixtures.
