Introduction

Model-driven system development based on UML/SysML
Goal: Learn the modelling languages and their application in a chosen modelling tool.
Length: 3 days, 3 × 8 × 45 minutes
Level: Introductory course, beginner level, no former knowledge is required
Keywords: UML/SysML models, building blocks, diagram types and their semantics, modelling practice, SysMOD introduction
Syllabus:
•Introduction to the UML/SysML language (diagram types and their usage)
•Requirement engineering using Requirement and Use Case diagrams
•Designing activity models (using Activity diagrams)
•Structure modelling, Component, Class and SysML Block Definition/Internal Block diagrams
•Describing dynamic behaviour: State Machine and Sequence diagrams
•Outlook: testing and constraints using UML/SysML
•Methodology overview (SysMOD)
