István Tamás Krébesz is a member of the DSP Laboratory and a member the Signal Processing Research Group.
Tamás Krébesz received the MSc and PhD (Summa Cum Laude) degrees in electrical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
He is presently a University Lecturer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. He was awarded the Outstanding Young University Teacher Award by the Department of Measurement and Information Systems in 2015. He has been an academic visitor and research assistant at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2009, 2012, and 2013, and at the INSA-LATTIS Laboratory, Toulouse, France, in 2009 and 2010.
Tamás Krébesz served IEEE-Hungary Section as Chair of Circuits, System & Computers Joint Chapter for more than 10 years.
He has been providing consulting services to multinational corporations (e.g., Enersys, National Instruments). His research and professional interests include ultra-wideband radio, chaos communications, networking devices of embedded systems, and automated measurement systems providing traceability.
