Bemutatás

In many telecommunications applications, the spectrum of information signal to be transmitted has to be spread over a wide frequency band. Chaotic signals can be used as spreading signals in conventional spread spectrum communications systems or as wideband carriers into which the information is mapped directly. In measurements, the chaotic signals can be used as wideband excitation. In both applications, chaotic signals satisfying a given specification are required. The aim of the project is the development of chaotic signal synthesizers suitable for the generation of required chaotic signals. Up to now many analysis techniques for chaotic systems and circuits have been elaborated mostly by mathematicians and physicists. However, design algorithms and methods for the synthesis of chaotic signal generators have not yet been developed. The missing design algorithms prevent the application of chaotic signals in real applications. The main objectives of this research are: to survey and compare the different chaotic signal generators from application point of view, to develop methods for the design of chaotic signal generators whose signals are able to meet a given specification and to implement prototype chaotic signal generators to verify the elaborated design methods.
