Porting steering assistant software to a novel architecture.

The candidate will take part in (i) investigating the differences between two generations of a micro-controller family (i.e., which are the new/modified on-MCU devices), (ii) understanding the dependance of an automotive application on the previous generation of the MCU (i.e., which software modules may be effected by the architectural change) and (iii) proposing solution and porting the application to the new MCU.  Required skills are: embedded software development basics (i.e., solid C programming knowledge, development for micro-controllers etc.).  Possible beneficial experience gained: automotive micro-controllers, modeling automotive software with the AUTOSAR visual modeling notation.  This subject is suggested for colleagues interested in micro-controllers and software modeling.
